Description
EyeWash-3 + DIN Kit 13164 is a complete and portable first aid case for rapid treatment of eye injuries, wounds and burns. The case contains 3 eye wash sprays of 250 ml with buffered 0.9% sodium chloride solution, providing a total of 45 minutes of rinsing time. On the other side, the case includes DIN Kit 13164 with a comprehensive range of wound care supplies.
The three eye wash sprays provide 15 minutes of rinsing time each and are particularly suitable for serious eye injuries caused by chemicals, dirt or dust. Acid burns generally require around 5 minutes of rinsing, while alkaline burns require at least 20–30 minutes. In severe cases, rinsing should continue during transport to an eye specialist.
The case is equipped with double inner covers that keep the contents in place and provide a clear overview. It is supplied complete with a wall bracket and can quickly be removed and carried to the injured person or during transport to medical care. In workplaces, the case should be positioned within easy reach where there is a risk of eye injuries.
The case is made from impact-resistant ABS plastic and is supplied in green. Refill eye wash 250 ml is available separately as article no. 8740. Once a spray bottle has been opened and the seal broken, it should only be used for wound cleansing, cooling burns or rinsing dirt and dust from the eye – not for severe chemical burns where long rinsing time is required.
